Ripple Out FIRE Limited Edition Japanese Puzzle Box by Osamu Kasho - RARE

This work was a limited edition puzzles and designed for an exhibition with the theme, “WA”. This work was designed for an exhibition with the theme, “WA”

The 2 semi-circles on the top express a mysterious pattern.
The two plates will move and then stop at every line where they fit together. It has 10 different patterns of combinations.  When you discover the correct alignment, the drawer will open. Even the shape of the handle has some meaning.

This particular work was crafted in collaboration with Kristin Newton.  Kristin's glasswork is one-of-a-kind and is a movable art piece. Kristin taught at The Stained Glass Professional School in Tokyo from 1982 until 2003. 

Exterior measures 135 × 133 × 66 mm. with a storage space of 110 x 93 x 24 mm.

Crafted in Walnut, Sono Keling and Maple

Arrives with opening diagram and gift box.
