natural wood and yosegi inlays on the sides.  A floral pattern is displayed on the reverse.

Secret Compartment interior is approximately* 4.7 x 4.2 x 1.7 inches.

21 + 1 Steps are required to open this puzzle with a 5 Yen Coin hidden inside a small secret compartment within the lid.

Awarded for his excellent work by the president of NHK in the 12th Japan traditional craft exhibition.
Appointed as a judge of craft skill by Kanagawa prefecture.
Awarded for his contribution to Odawara city.
1986
Held his private art exhibition in Tokyo. Title; "Woodcraft through 100 years by 5 generations".
1987
Authorized as a prominent craftsman by Kanagawa prefecture.
